"We rise by lifting others"- Robert Ingersoll
Do you ever find yourself in a funk? Perhaps its hard to see the silver lining in situations, or focusing on the negative instead of the positive, or even smiling feels forced and unnatural. We all have those off days, but a way to rise out of that negative way of thinking is to simply lift up someone else. It can be as simple as smiling at your early-morning barista, letting the harassed looking mom with young kids go in front of you at the grocery store, or reaching out to a loved one and letting them know how much they mean to you. Lifting up someone else is the surest way to lift your own spirit and open yourself to the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
