As the days get colder, our bodies begin to crave warm and savory foods. But these simple and nutritious smoothie recipes will make any Fall day feel like summer. From the decadent fig & banana smoothie to the Super Green Smoothie that is great for warding off colds, our favorite fall smoothies will keep your healthy habits in check. 


Blueberry Goji Goodness

200 ml (organic goat- or soy-) yogurt

1 handful frozen blueberries

1 handul frozen mango

1 tbs beepollen

1 tbs goji berries

Blend together until smooth. Add a handful of oats or almonds for even more super foods.


Holiday Cranberry & Kale

This delicious Fall smoothie is dairy free, gluten free, and sugar free!


1 1/2 cups coconut water

2 tablespoons coconut cream*

1 large bunch of kale, stems removed and leafs roughly torn

1 cup fresh organic whole cranberries

1 organic banana

Handful of frozen
 Medjool dates, or other sweetener of your choice

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Blend together and enjoy!


Festive Fig

3-4 fresh figs, washed and stems removed the halved (I used black mission)*

1 frozen banana

1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or other non-dairy milk)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds, optional

Handful of ice

Blend until smooth and enjoy!

    Those all look amazing. I need a better blender. What kind do you use? I know Vitamix and Blendtech are awesome but any advice to someone who doesn’t want to spend that much on a blender. Is there something that’s “almost as good”?
